X-Wave

A connecting wave used to link corrective structures together.

Typically found in:

  • combinations
  • complex corrections

NEoWave Association

NEoWave uses more advanced interpretation of X-waves and their role in maintaining structural balance.

According to Glenn Neely's NEoWave, X-waves provide an important connection between two standard wave patterns (such as Flats, Zigzags and Triangles).

NEoWave evaluates:

  • the duration of the X-wave in relation to the prior standard wave pattern
  • limits the retracement percentage the X-wave is allowed to achieve
  • limits the internal subdivisions of the X-wave
